 Transforming Texas

This is an exciting time and a time of great change for Texas, Texans, and Texas libraries, librarians and library supporters. In order to deal with this change and meet the needs of Texas constituents, the Texas Library Association and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission partnered to create a summit (December 2007) to bring current and future leaders together to create a vision for transforming the Texas library environment.
 
In order to realize this vision, three primary initiatives were articulated to provide venues for a transformation:

  • Transforming the Texas Library Association
